Why donate to Arts Orange County?
Arts Orange County works behind the scenes to help create stable and well-managed arts organizations, innovative and effective collaborations, and informed and aware audiences. Unlike most arts councils around the nation, Arts Orange County is not primarily government-funded- 98% of its budget is derived from private contributions. With support from arts advocates like you, ArtsOC can continue to help enhance public awareness of the arts and strengthen the capacity of the OC arts community.

|You can support the arts in the entire state of California by joining The Million Plates Drive. Simply buy the California Arts License Plate from the California Department of Motor Vehicles. Its sun and palm tree design was created by prominent California artist Wayne Thiebaud and is designed to solely benefit the arts.
The Arts Plate is the primary source of California's public arts funding. One million Arts Plates on the road will generate $40 million annually for arts education and local arts programs for children, schools and communities - in every county across the entire state.
Join the drive to inspire future generations of Californians with the creativity, imagination and innovation that are key to success in every field. Proceeds generated from the sales of the plates are allocated to arts education and local arts programming in schools and communities in California. For further information and to order your license plate go to the California Arts Council's website.
