Each Spring, Arts Orange County presents Imagination Celebration: Orange County's only county-wide family arts festival!

Presented in partnership with the Orange County Department of Education, Imagination Celebration dynamically connects the community, arts organizations, universities, and Orange County students through meaningful arts experiences.

Imagination Celebration Events

- Each year, approximately 40-50 organizations, schools, cities, and libraries produce and present events during the county-wide festival.

Imagination Celebration visual art exhibits include the following shows and festival:

1. 1,000 Pieces of Art
Featuring approximately 100 2-D artworks from each grade level, created using traditional media, photography, or on the computer. Only two-dimensional works are considered for this exhibition.
a. Traditional Media Show
b. Photography Show
c. Digital Illustration/Graphic Design Show

2. VSA Festival
Features the artistic accomplishments of students with disabilities. (Additional information can be found at )

3. Three-Dimensional Art Show
Featuring approximately 100 pieces of three-dimensional art from grades PreK-12 at Saddleback Visual Arts, Saddleback Church.

Imagination Celebration Poster Contest

- Orange County students in grades 7 - 12 have the opportunity to create the official poster for the Imagination Celebration.

- The winning poster will be reproduced on posters, ads, and flyers relating to the festival.

- The top thirty outstanding entries will be publicly exhibited during the festival at a selected art gallery.

- The Contest entry period has now ended. Check back soon to see the winning entry and to vote for the Peoples' Choice Award from among the thirty finalists.
